Sydney Padua at Caption 2010
Sydney Padua has the distinction of having got in to webcomics by accident. Her day job is as an animator and story artist working mostly in visual effects in London.
She started drawing comics by accident when she added this addendum to a comic she drew for Ada Lovelace day:
