Still life can hear tiny objects of fear
The exhibition
Caption's exhibition is about trawling deep into the small things
which scatter through your life, startling and scaring and setting the
mind on edge. Contributions should be small (13cmsq or less), deeply
disturbing, and not so heavy that they can't be hung from the ceiling
with surgical cotton and bent pins. If what you're sending in is
sticky, please be polite enough to shrink-wrap it (many copy-shops
will now shrink-wrap things for you) to avoid soiling. That said, I
will try my best to display everything you send in, so if your tiny
object of fear starts to swell, it's no cause for anxiety.
If you've prepared something else, or don't like the theme,
Caption desperately needs items for its charity auction (in the aid of
the Cartoon Art Trust). Please give generously!
