Oxford’s annual small-press comics festival is away with the fairies on Saturday and Sunday 15–16 August 2009 at the East Oxford Community Centre. Join us for a weekend of talks, panels and workshops about comics, minicomics, and grubby photocopied whatsists. Relax in the bar and discussion areas. Buy comics from our very select collection of stallholders. Sell your own comics via the CAPTION table.

Garen Ewing will be talking about his comic Rainbow Orchid published by Egmont, and will also be running a scriptwriting workshop.

Art Needed for the Programme Booklet

As usual we are asking for art for the programme booklet/exhibition/auction, so get those pencils out and start drawing fairies, fairy tales, winged mythological creatures or anything else fairy-inspired.

Can I book a table?

We want you to be free to join in panels and workshops, so instead of renting out individual tables we have the CAPTION table, run by CAPTION gofers. You can leave your minicomics on the table in the morning and in the evening collect the unsold copies and the money for the sold copies minus 10%.
